I have been getting a good amount of questions about index funds as well as potential alternatives, so I wanted to post a video that may help clear some things up. I’m a fan of both index funds and Dimensional funds, but wanted to give you a little taste of some of the differences between the two. For doctors and nurses that have gotten to a place where they want to build wealth instead of just paying everything off, this is an important conversation because it can make a big difference over the course of decades. It’s especially important because far too often people will pick the default choice for investments and it may be easier to devote the time to making a better decision now then having to deal with less returns than expected later.
Please let me know what you think of the video in the comments or send me an email if you have further questions about the differences in approaches.
