Financial Literacy Friday: Quarterly Market Report
For today’s Financial Literacy Friday blog post we’re going to take a look at the Quarterly Market Report that I just released. Now, I recognize that it may not be everyone’s cup of tea to do a deep dive into how the markets performed over the last quarter but I do think it’s useful to review some of the major issues that have occured over the last quarter. This Quarterly Market Report also contains information for those looking ahead to the rest of the year as to how the economy will change through the Fed’s regulation. So, access the report and I’ll give you a preview of some of the important points to explore.
An overview of how the trade war has played out over the last quarter including the tariffs that have been enacted and how that impacts the economy as a whole.
The Fed’s approach to the economy and how they’ll be affecting interest rates throughout the rest of 2018. These are great indicators for how the economy is doing and where it could be headed.
This quarter’s US equity performance and where that’s likely headed for the rest of the year.
